E.L.F. Haul #14 with swatches

Hey there!
It has been way too long since I have done an e.l.f. haul, I have definitely missed them!
e.l.f had 50% OFF all Studio products and I decided to take advantage of the sale.
{I'm telling you, if you don't keep track of e.l.f.'s sales you really need to because you can get such a deal on cosmetics that are already a steal}

First up I will show you the brushes I got

I re-purchased the Studio Powder brush, Blush brush, and Eyeshadow brush

These are my favorite three brushes of all the brushes I own.

The new brushes I decided to try out were the Small Smudge brush and the Contour brush.

I'm not sure how much I like the smudge brush. Without knowing the name of this brush, I would never guess it was supposed to be a smudge brush. The bristles are very short, dense, and stiff. I think I will end up using it for cream eyeliner.

I'm definitely loving the contour brush. I have been using it as blending brush for my crease. I prefer a tapered brush to actually apply my crease color but this is the perfect size and density to blend out the crease color.

Okay those were all 5 brushes I bought. Next up, the makeup goodies I bought.

Face:

Studio Blush in Twinkle Pink
(left) With Flash   (right) Without Flash

holycrazygoldglitter! This is my most glittery blush I own. The pink aspect of the color is very pretty but the blush is so full of glitter it makes the blush a lot less wearable. I think you could pull this off applied with a light hand, when you have an awesome tan, and if you are going out at night. When wearing this you could probably go without a highlighter and would want to use in combination with a matte bronzer to balance out the glitter.

Lips:

Studio Matte Lip Color in Natural and Tea Rose

I love these! I have been using them non-stop. The colors (at least these shades) are so nice and natural, which make them really easy to use everyday. They are easy to use on the go and moderately long lasting. Matte products have the reputation for being drying. I haven't noticed these make my lips more dry than they were to begin with but they definitely don't add moisture to my lips. To be safe, use a lip balm!

Eyes:

Studio Cream Eyeshadows in Smoke and Pewter

I'm so very obsessed with these cream eyeshadows! They are so pretty on their own and they are a great base for powder eyeshadows. They are ridiculously long lasting. When I swatched these on my hand they stayed as long as my waterproof eyeliners. I couldn't get them off with just water and they wouldn't budge! Great product!

Studio Cream Eyeliners in Punk Purple and Gunmetal

I love these cream liners. I have purchased black, brown, bronze, a forest green, a plum purple, and now I have a gray and bright purple. I would say about half of those came completely dry or pretty dry. The other half of the liners I have purchased are so creamy they apply like a liquid. Gunmetal is the perfect creamy texture. Punk Purple is more dry but still usable. You would think after so many of these arrive at my doorstep dried out I would stop buying them. I love them so much that I just have to keep my fingers crossed they arrive in perfect condition.

Free Gift

e.l.f. Brightening Eye Color in Ivy

I never purchase these on my own, but I can't make an order without getting my free gift. I was pretty happy with the colors in this quad. The bronze and mauve are my favorite. The shadows are all very soft and pigmented. I think the reason I don't get more use out of these is because of the awkward shapes and angles of the pan.

That's everything I got, I hope you enjoyed the post and perhaps saw something you want from e.l.f.

Good sale going on at e.l.f. right now?

Free Shipping with any order of $25.00 or more.
Code: SHIP25
If you're new to e.l.f. coupon codes, they can't be combined. Only one per order.
I'm always a sucker for free shipping because I hate paying $7.00 when that could have been 7 products!

xoxo
