Mini e.l.f. Haul

Hey Everyone!

For like a month e.l.f. had a coupon code going on where you could take $5.00 off any purchase with no minimum amount required. I decided to just buy 5  things from their $1.00 Essentials line. Unfortunately they didn't quite get my order right. I ordered the nail polish in Party Purple but instead they sent me Mineral Lipstick in Nicely Nude. They didn't charge me more for it... but I already have that lipstick and don't want another one. I wanted Party Purple!! Oh well. Silly e.l.f.

Here are the goods

Luscious Liquid Lipstick in Bark 

This is a a pink brown very natural nude color. It's quite sheer but I knew to expect that. I think it will be great by itself or over a nude lipstick. It has the slightest hint of mintyness and is super smooth!

Mineral Lipstick in Nicely Nude 

It's a nice shimmery pink shade but definitely isn't nude in my opinion. This was the first lipstick I bought from e.l.f. I really like it. Now I have a backup I guess ;) 

Natural Radiance Blusher in Bronze 

I am continually impressed with these Natural Radiance Blushers, (minus the ridiculous packaging)

This shade is soo pigmented and has tons of gold shimmer.

I don't think I will use this until summer but then it will great at bronzing my skin but also giving it a really nice summer glow.

Free gift, Brightening Eye Color quad in Nouveau Neutrals 

I got this as my free gift for referring 3 friends to e.l.f.

My very first purchase from e.l.f. included this same quad but in the colors Ethereal. I hated that one. I couldn't make it work for me so I gave it to my mom. The colors of this quad are bordering on identical.

The colors look nice... but I knew better.

The white and light tan colors are really sheer and chalky. It doesn't help that they are full of super chunky glitter.

The light rusty red shade is less chalky as is the greenish gray. But compared to my other e.l.f. shadows from the studio and mineral lines, these ones are really poor quality. Sorry e.l.f. I'm just not a fan.

Eye Crease Brush and Eyeliner Brush 

I'm really excited about the eye crease brush because it looks like a mini version of the blending brush and that brush is a superstar. The eyeliner brush is really hard. It's more than just stiff bristles, it kind of feels like there is a piece of plastic hiding in the bristles.... But I haven't used it yet, so maybe it will work well for application.

Well there is my itty bitty e.l.f. haul. I went on their website while writing this post to get the name of the nail polish I tried to order and saw that they have 50% off all lip products going on until 02/07/2011. I immediately went into a lip frenzy adding products to my cart, but once I looked through everything I picked out I realized I didn't really love anything in there and that I was being sucked in at the prospect of 50% off. So I closed the browser... Oh e.l.f. you sure know the way to my heart or should I say wallet!
