I was craving pretty fall clothes when I decided to order the cardigan above. The jury is still out on how I feel about it. I will say it is very very soft and comfy which is nice but the front is really long. Like a little too long for me. I haven't decided if I am going to keep it. Maybe I just need to find the perfect shirt to wear underneath. We shall see...
The long sleeve blouse is something I am very excited for. I haven't tried it on yet but I have the same shirt in white and I absolutely love it. The shirt is so soft and silky. And it looks totally adorable with a cardigan on top and the sleeves rolled up. I was really excited to get a print. They have the same print with a brown background and then they have solids (like the white one I have) in kelly green, purple, and black. I really want the kelly green blouse. But really, two of the same shirt is enough!
I have the navy tank in yellow from an order last month and loved it so much I bought it navy (This is a reoccurring trend if you haven't noticed). I love the simple eyelet ruffle along the top.
You might recognize the light blue printed top from a previous haul. I bought this blouse in yellow but they didn't have the picture on website when I did the post so I had used this blue top. Well, I went back and ordered the blue top! I absolutely love it. So soft and flowy and I love the ruffles. I got a lot of compliments when I wore this.
I'm really into loose almost sheer button ups lately so I decided to try this sleeveless option. I haven't tried it on yet but I just know it is going to look great with a cardigan, jeans, and a statement necklace.
Oh you purple braided tank. I love you so. In my last haul I showed this top in gray. Well hot diggity I ordered it in purple too. It fits perfect, so soft, so cute.
These are hands down my absolute favorite layering tanks. I have them in coral, white, magenta, dark green, and now purple and gray! I will say that in person the colors are darker than they advertise on the website. The purple is darker and more vibrant. The gray is more like a dark charcoal gray. But they are so soft with a little stretch. They don't lose their shape, they don't shrink in the dryer.
Love love love!
And finally, I bought a skinny belt. This is actually the only belt I own. I wanted a skinny belt I could wear at my waist over a flowy top and perhaps knot it all cute like. I haven't tried it on yet but I'm really hoping it is the right size!

NOTD feat. Sally Hansen Salon Effects nail polish strips, NYC, && Seche Vite
This past weekend I went to Big Lots and saw they had a few shades of the Sally Hansen Salon Effects real nail polish strips. I had never tried them before so I picked up the print called Skinny Jeans.
Each box comes with 16 strips {heaven forbid they give you 20, HELLO I HAVE 10 FINGERS?!?}. They are two air tight packages of 8 {I repeat, HELLO I HAVE 10 FINGERS} and once you open the package you have to use all of the strips and discard any unused strips because they will dry out. I decided to only open one package of 8 and then do accent nails in a different color so I didn't have to open the other package {darn you Sally Hansen, I know what you were trying to do and I thwarted your evil wasteful plan!}
Here is how it turned out
The berry colored polish is Radio City Rose by NYC
Oh && did I mention this was only $3.00 at Big Lots?!
Now get yourself to Big Lots!!

New clothes from Old Navy!
-First up are those dark wash jeans. They are actually much darker than they appear in the picture above. They are very cute and simple. The kind of jeans you can wear with anything. Mine always shrink (length wise) after a few washes. I'm approximately 5'8" so I order mine long and roll them up the first few times I wear them and eventually they shrink to the perfect size. When I order the regular length they are perfect until I have to wash them and then I look like I'm preparing for a flood, if you know what I mean. Not a good look with any jeans, let alone boot cut.
-The blue tank in the opposite corner is supposed to be yellow, hence the mini version above it. Apparently they don't carry the yellow anymore but the blue is still cute!
-I order the gray braided tank first. It was so cute and fit perfectly that I ordered a second in purple.
-The polka dot and yellow tanks are also really cute and very very comfortable.
-I absolutely love the zebra print cardigan. It is the perfect way to do an animal print without looking like the star of Jerseyshore!
-I love Old Navy's jersey stretch tanks! Which is why I ordered three. They are mostly cotton but have some spandex to give them stretch. They aren't tight but they also don't stretch out and lose their shape like some of the brand's cotton tanks.
-I'm also totally in love with this scarf. I realize we are only a month or two away from Fall but I mean come on, coral with polka dots and little fringe. What more could I want?! It is a very thin airy scarf. I just love it.
-The white chiffon-ish blouse in the bottom left is also another favorite. So comfortable and perfect for layering. It is long enough to do the ever popular 90s knot or to leave one side untucked with a messy bun.
-Red checkered button up. Enough said. I mean what else could I say about it. I love it. White tank peeking out with dark jeans and a side braid. I wear it with the sleeves rolled up for an even more relaxed look.

Neutral Makeup Look feat. Maybelline, e.l.f., Benefit, Rimmel, Pixi
Hey there.
I been really inspired by pink/coral eyeshadow looks but I'm a neutral girl all the way when it comes to my makeup so I decided to start small. I had already used bella bamba blush by benefit on my cheeks when I decided to incorporate some into my eye look.
Here is everything I used...
1. Maybelline Color Tattoo in Bad to the Bronze
2. e.l.f. mineral eyeshadow in Elegant
3. Bella Bamba boxed blush by Benefit
4. e.l.f. mineral eyeshadow in Royal
5. Endless Silky Eye pen in black by Pixi
6. Rimmel Lycra Lash Extender in Benefit Bad Gal Lash mascaras
I started with the Maybelline Color Tattoo as my base.
I didn't even put a primer on first. This is a really a fantastic product and the only cream product I have been able to use without experiencing any creasing. It is awesome and from the drugstore.
I always use e.l.f. mineral eyeshadow in Elegant as my inner corner highlight. It is perfect for brightening any look.
Next I used Bella Bamba on the the middle of the lid. It is a really shimmery pink and adds such a nice dimension to the look.
I took a little of the Royal e.l.f. mineral eyeshadow in the crease. It's a very dark, smoky, shimmery purple. I love it in the crease and how it pairs with the pink and the bronze.
With what I had left on the brush I took Royal under the eye.
I initially used the pencil liner and went over it with the L'oreal Carbon Black Lineur Intense to wing it out.
I've always been a big fan of wearing two mascaras. Today I went with Rimmel and Benefit.
Here is the final look.

Chevron inspired nails >> raspberry+mint
Who doesn't love chevron, am I right?
The chevron design is really having a moment in the beauty, fashion, and decor worlds so I decided to incorporate the cute little stripes in my latest manicure.
This was the first time I tried these, so yes the stripes aren't perfect but I'll tell you what, I still love 'em! Annnnd I did the stripes freehand and I'm terrible at nail art so if I can do it somewhat decently so can you!
Here is what I used...
My accent nails are Re-fresh Mint by China Glaze with... oh no! I just realized I didn't take a picture of the sparkle top coat. Oh geez.
Okay I stopped writing, took the picture, and here is the sparkle top coat I used
They don't put the color name on the bottle but this is one of the L.A. Colors Color Craze nail polishes which retail for $1.00. The iridescent glitter is subtle && wearable but totally pretty.
Anyways, back to my other polishes. On the rest of my nails I used Radio City Rose by NYC. This is one of their In a New York Minute quick dry polishes and they really do dry quickly, I love it!
I created the chevron stripes with the L.A. Colors Art Deco nail art polish in black. It has a really long super skinny brush that makes creating the design very easy.

Here is what I did with my eye makeup the other day, take a look...
The products...
I used Smashbox Photo Finish Lid Primer and then Maybelline Color Tattoo by EyeStudio in Bad To the Bronze all over the lid.
I used e.l.f. Mineral Eyeshadow in Elegant on the inner half of the lid and inner corner.
WnW Coloricon single in Nutty on the outer half of the lid and crease.
Finally, e.l.f. Mineral Eyeshadow in Earthy as a little pop of color on the center of the lid.
I used a little bit of Benefit's High Beam as my brow highlight.
For eyeliner I applied L'oreal's Carbon Black Lineur Intense
I applied two mascaras that are almost dried up and useless but I have loved them.
Extra Super Lash by Rimmel and Lights, Camera, Lashes by Tarte
Here are swatches of the eye shadows starting from the left

So I had to include this last photo. After I took pictures of the swatches I was washing them off and look...
The lip colors are gone completely. The powder eyeshadows are barely hanging on but the Color Tattoo...
LOOK AT IT!! It didn't rub/wash off/ fade AT ALL!! WHAT?!
This stuff means business. It is l o n g lasting.
Just wanted to share that with you so you could get an idea of the lasting power of the Color Tattoos.

NOTD: mint, pink, and gold glitter
I have been so inspired by all of the pretty nail pictures on Pinterest
But I really have no experience with nail art, so I go for a combination of different colors. Here's what I used this morning...
I painted my thumb, index, and middle finger with the mint color. My ring finger gold. And my pinky hot pink {how appropriate, pinky pink}
I really love the combination of pink and gold and I always love mint!
What have you been doing with your nails lately?
