Target, Walmart, and Big Lots Haul

Over my birthday weekend I did a little shopping and thought I would show you what I picked up.

Big Lots

Almay Pure Blends translucent shimmer

This was an impulse purchase, as most Big Lots purchases tend to be. It's a subtle highlights that can be used for cheekbones, brow bones, or inner corner of the eye.

Maybelline Dream Mousse blush in Soft Plum

I love these mousse blushes. They are so easy to blend and this shade in particular will be great for Fall!

Revlon ColorStay Overtime lip color in Perennial Peach

I'm so glad I bought this product. The color is gorgeous (although not very peachy in my opinion), pigmented, and SO long lasting. It is not the texture of a stain but it really does adhere to the lips and last for hours. I love it.

Equate Oil-Free Eye Makeup Remover

I ran out of my Walgreens brand eye makeup remover (which is fantastic) so I decided to give this one a shot. I haven't tried it out yet.

Sally Hansen Crackle Overcoat in Fractured Foil 

I was so excited when I saw these at my Walmart! They only had silver, hot pink, and white. While I wanted all three, I only chose silver. I love it because it is sparkly!

Rimmer Lasting Finish Pro nail polish in Gold Silk

If you have read my blog before, you know this is my absolute favorite nail polish brand. Every shade I own is opaque after one or two coats, long lasting, and the brush is fantastic! I call this shade my grown up nail polish.

Herbal Essences Long Term Relationship shampoo

My hair is the longest it has ever been in my life and I have heard good things about this shampoo so I bought it! That's pretty much all the thought that went into purchasing this.

I haven't used it yet. It leaked. BLAST!

TARGET

I love these little earring trios from Target. They always have two small studs and then a larger more fun pair. While I love the pearls and flowers, I bought this for the owls! Gah! I love them!

I got this adorable cream colored crocheted headband! I love soft headbands like this that go all around your head. I have worn this two or three times and I'm a little disappointed because it got stretched out putting it on and taking it off my head. I can still wear it but it takes more re-adjusting throughout the day because it is a little stretched out. Sad.

I got a very plain satin black headband that I couldn't find when writing this. I also got two pairs of shoes which I am saving for another post!

Some Birthday Goodies...

My husband bought this bag. I was so impressed.

My birthday was the first part of September and my family spoiled me rotten.

My sisters flew in from out of state and we all spent the weekend at my parents house.

anything from Sephora before!

She also got me 4 nail polishes from Forever 21. I haven't tried the scented ones
yet but I'm really looking forward to seeing (or smelling) if they work!

My hubby got me this little Burt's Bees gift set. I love ALL of their products!

I've use a mini size of this before and loved it! I used every last drop!
I'm so excited to have more.

I have only used this once but
it smells divine and is so thick&creamy

These little gloves are cute and great for softening
skin overnight.

My husband knew I have always wanted to try this line of makeup wipes.
The scent of apple and lemon takes some getting used to but I like it because
even though it is strong, it smells natural and not perfumy!

The hubby picked out this perfume for me
it's Katy Perry's new scent.  

This is a roll up, hanging, travel makeup&toiletries bag. I LOVE IT!
My husband picked it out all by himself!

Now I am thankful for and love EVERYTHING I was given for my birthday, but I'm so very obsessed with this curling iron
I picked out. I'm sure you have seen all about these on other blogs and YouTube but it curls SUPER fast and nicely and gives perfect curls every single time. I love it! I love curling my hair now!

Walmart Haul: Neutrogena Naturals, Garnier, YesTOcucumbers, Cetaphil, got2b

Over the last month or so I have picked up some random hair and face products that I want to show you all.

Neutrogena Naturals purifying pore scrub && facial cleanser

Scrub:

I love this facial scrub because it is so gentle. It doesn't rub my skin raw while still smoothing out and removing dead and flaky skin.

Cleanser:

While I don't hate this face wash, I definitely don't love it. It hasn't done anything spectacular for me and I think it dries out my skin a little. It has a very perfumy scent which I don't enjoy. I also wish it was a cream cleanser to provide a bit more moisture to my skin.

Freeman Facial Clay Mask -- Mint&Lemon

I love this mask! It is so soothing and smells amazing! It also makes my skin feel really nice&smooth.

Garnier Nutriste Skin Renew Anti-Puff Eye Roller

This is one of those products that is terrible for people like me. I'm too lazy. I forget to use it every day and I hate things that don't have instant results. Well maybe not instant, but this takes like weeks. I don't have overly puffy eyes but I have awful under eye circles and I have heard these are good for treating under eye circles.

Cetaphil Moisturizing Cream for dry&sensitive skin

I was in need of a new moisturizer and had no clue what to try. Because it is meant for dry skin and I have combination, I only use the tiniest dollop and it moisturizes my whole face. I thought something for sensitive skin would be a good idea because my skin flares up red so easily these days. I'm not in love with this moisturizer but it is definitely gentle&&hydrating so it does the job.

YesTOcucumbers Facial Towelettes

I think I have found my favorite makeup remover wipes. The smell is subtle and fresh. It easily removes all my face makeup, eyeshadow, and eyeliner (does not remove mascara). It is very gentle and does not dry out my skin.

got2b Smooth Operator hair spray

Can I just start out saying that this hairspray smells like perfume and it is amazing. It is a medium hold hair spray that works great for finishing off and holding every day hairstyles.
